Rally Against Border Patrol Searching Buses in Rochester

On June 7, community advocates and volunteers with Rochester Rapid Response held a rally to protest the actions of ICE agents on travel buses in our region.

I am proud that Rochester is a sanctuary city. And, that makes this type of search is especially appalling here. We are reaching out to New York State officials to see what we might be able to do to protect the people that live in or pass through our city. We have work to do to make everyone in our community feel safe.

News 10 WHEC provided some coverage of the rally.
